BCRP
The Berkeley County Republican Party holds two official meetings each month: the Breakfast Meeting and the Executive Committee Business Meeting.
Our Breakfast Meeting has become one of the most attended monthly conservative events across the state and is generally held on the first Saturday of each month. Our Business Meeting is generally held on the third Monday of each month. Adjustments to these norms are made for holidays.
And every two years, the Party undergoes Reorganization beginning with Precinct Reorganization and continuing with County Convention and State Convention.
County Council
Berkeley County Council conducts its regularly scheduled meetings on the 4th Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Assembly Room of the Berkeley County Administration Building, located at 1003 Highway 52 in Moncks Corner. Committee Meetings (Administrative Services, Auxiliary Services, Community Services, Finance, Justice & Public Safety, Land Use, Operations, and Public Utilities) are held on the 2nd Monday of the month, if needed. All meetings are open to the public.

City Councils
Berkeley County is not only the largest county in South Carolina in size, but it also is an extremely diverse county and encompasses parts or all of the following municipalities: Goose Creek, Hanahan, Charleston, Bonneau, Moncks Corner, Jamestown, St. Stephen, and Summerville. Each of these municipalities have their own form of government with varying meeting schedules and services.

School Board
The Berkeley County Board of Education sets policy, provides sufficient funding and monitors all instructional programs to ensure quality and equal education opportunities for all students.
The board meets the first and third Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the Boardroom located at 107 E. Main Street in Moncks Corner. Board meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend. There is an opportunity for "Citizen Comments" at each regular meeting.
